2014 Edition Test Method Approved by the National Coordinator

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is pleased to announce the release of the 2014 Edition Test Method (Test Procedures, Test Data, and Test Tools) for EHR Certification. After a comprehensive public review and comment process, the 2014 Edition Test Method was finalized and formally approved by the National Coordinator on December 14, 2012. The 2014 Edition Test Procedures, Test Data, and Test Tools are now available for use in testing and certifying Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology under the ONC HIT Certification Program (formerly referred to as the Permanent Certification Program). ONC thanks all the dedicated individuals who provided valuable feedback and suggestions on the draft materials.
